Individuality VS Authenticity

Individuality is what distinguishes us from other people in the pack. Authenticity is what makes us unique from conformity. How can individuals who wake up and practice the same routine (check social media, do things to impress other people on social media, end the day by watching what impressive things occurred on social media) do anything revolutionary for their peers if they are in a cycle of influence from those living a parallel life to their own?

Being an individual takes guts and only those daring enough to disassociate themselves from the ordinary will be able to achieve the extraordinary. Individuality is derived from a combination of experiences, influences, and exposures. How can we teach eachother anything that will advance the human species if we are all watching and waiting for the rest of us to do something life changing on the internet? Eventually, one of us will have to step away from the staged “highlight reel” and step into reality. If not, we will all become clones that rely on artificial intelligence to become the tastemakers.

Your authenticity is your super-power. Some people have a genuine ability to connect with nature, people, numbers, music, astrology, architecture, etc. That authenticity is what gives us purpose. Our purpose defines how we communicate with the rest of the world and how we interpret the way the rest of the world communicates with us. It is how we live our truth. Understanding why you are wired the way you are will provide you insight for how to live your best life. Everyone has a different purpose in life: however, you have to be true to yourself and what you like as well as what you dislike to be able to channel how those elements can help you get to your ultimate definitive purpose.
